Fished Thursday afternoon off BPL. Small pods of bait around (mostly on the west side in ~ 55' of water) and slow action. Most fish came off the board rods but the biggest came on short deep umbrella. However we found the kids a few fish. We had two 9 year olds on the boat and they have memories for a lifetime! It was my son's friend's first time fishing for stripers and he came home to his dad and said "we caught the biggest fish I have ever seen!"

Way to take care of the kids Greg! South seems to be the ticket right now but soon they will be here! Still want to get some black drum!.........Gary
