My best luck with cast netting spot is in shallow(3ft-4ft) grassy area with an 8ft fast sinking net. Any deeper than that it is tough to get the net down to them without spooking them.

Anyone fish around the bridge during Feb/March? I live next to it so it would nice to be able to go out and find some fish around it. I would think there are some perch around it but never tried...

It was slow for me yesterday in the Potomac. Fished by the Gas Docks at Piney Point down to the St. Mary's with nothing to show for it. I think I need to go a little more south.
