I only mention this because I can personally recommend the lures for catching rockfish, blues, and spanish mackeral.
Once we put away the large parachutes (after trophy season), we use these lures all summer and fall.
I prefer the spreader bars over the umbrella's. They seem to tangle less whenever they hit bottom (on a sharp turn); and Capt John can make some sharp turns to get back on breaking fish
