Friday, fished out Herrington and started in 35 ft. Set lines and stayed from 37 to 45 ft. Got 4 quick fish then had to wait 2 hours before we got 2 more. I had 6 guys and they wanted to call it a day so we did. One of my guys butchers deer during the winter and left me with a ton of sausage , bologna and jerky
. Board lines 100 ft. with small 4 arm umbrellas and single 9 oz. lures did best 40 to 70 ft off boards.
Saturday - got 1 quick fish and then lost my MOJO
Fished through tons of bait to no avail. Went south and did nothing. Came back to between 83 and 82 and MOJO came back (three hours later). Got 2 more fish and that's all I needed. Fish seemed to want deeper baits and in deeper water 50-60 ft. but still on the boards.
