If this is true, sorry to hear it. He certainly was a character. He will live on as long as that huge charter boat "Capt. Buddy" keeps sailing the Chesapeake. That boat reminds me of a PT boat converted to a charter boat
. His mate must have used a net with a LONG handle to net fish.
I believe he lost his license a couple years ago due to his eyesight.
