It definitely was a good day to finish out the season. Couldn't have asked for better weather in the middle of December. I had fished with Jim a few times this spring, so I really wanted to take him on my boat before the season ended to return the favor. We planned a couple of trips this fall that never panned out due to bad weather or family obligations, so I was happy we could finally make it happen. I've always been big into trolling but recently I started jigging and like it a lot. I thought I was pretty decent at it but damn, Jim skooled my ass yesterday
I had never heard of garlic scent and the term "hotrodding" doesn't seem to go with fishing, does it? I guess I have a lot to learn about jigging
