We got a temporary slip last spring in Chesapeake Beach, and it was worth it. This was during the time frame when my boat was still at Ferry Point in the Magothy. Now that I'm based out of the South River, what I might do is talk to the marina owner where I dry-store about a tempoary slip for the spring season.
