uncljohn; someonewill jump in here to give you the exact title of the surveyer who's at Sandy Point. I'm not 100 % sure of the survey; is it the famous Mssef study (sp)?
He is affiliated with NOOA; but it's not the NOOA study associated with our new cards.
My main beef is that data is used to support whatever they (DNR) want it to support. It's hard to believe that an agency that restricts Catch and Release would have to have a public meeting to try to figure out how to vote on INCREASING the coastal catch by 10%.
For now, and I did say for now, I'll keep my catch rate and hours fished to myself. I may share this info in the future; but I have to be convinced that the data won't come back to bite me in the behind
