Default FREE Spanish Mac trolling seminar - Monday 16th

The mid bay area often sees a very cool summer time visitor - Spanish Mackerel.
These speedy fish come in around mid August and stay sometimes until October.
Not a lot of time but they are a fun change of pace. Altough not big - 1 to 4 lbs - they offer great eating - IMHO - when fresh broiled or grilled. Trick is keeping them buried in plenty of ice.

One of the best ways to catch them is high speed trolling at 5 to 8 knots.
Certain lures / rigs and down planers are needed to load the cooler.

On Monday night - charter Captain Bo Hamm of " Brawler II " from Kent Island will share the secrets to catching these sleek fish. He'll cover in detail everything needed. Don't have a boat ? Well , he is offering a very special deal on chartering - but only to those who attend.

Don't have the right gear - that is covered as well. Marty's baitshop will have planers / lures for sale there as well.

Meeting is FREE - plenty of parking. Room has AC and there is cold beer for sale.

Location is American Legion post #175 - on Manhatten Beach Rd - off Jones Station in Severna Park , Md.

Doors open at 7:00 pm - seminar starts at 7:30.

There is even a door prize and a raffle table. Timing is about perfect as the Spanish are just now coming in strong. Next few weeks should be good.
