I met Lefty at a Bass Pro sponsored event last year. He was in the Fly Shop alone while everyone else was out in the main store listening to a Jimmy Houston or some other speaker. We sat for 20 minutes shooting the breeze and he was an absolute delight to listen to. He has a smile that can light up a room. He signed my book, we shook hands and I left with a cherished memory. Good stuff.
