I imagine he does everything that ice fisherpeople do to be safe. He's that kind of guy.
I'd worry about the ice all the time, but after the past 3 or 4 days we've had here around Annapolis I wouldn't go near it.
Of course it does get substantially colder up there in western MD. I guess thye know what they're doing.
So nobody has ever been ice fishing, eh?
