Actually the wind was coming out of the south/southwest.

I'm loving the big perch. I've been throwing a 1/4 ounce Beetlespin on an ultralight rod with 6lb mono on it....feels like I'm shark fishing.

Sometimes I replace the beetle with a tiny "Bass Assasin" (these are actually made by Zoom though) and that seems to stir up bigger fish with the increased action. Caught Blues, White Perch, Yellow Perch, Catfish and Stripers on it rigged like that this year. White seems to always be a good color regardless of time, weather or water color.

I LOVE being out there, especially this time of the year. The sunset was also fantastic last night.

I'll post everything I can, everytime I get out. That's what the forums are for; sharing info so that everyone can do a little better.
