Sportfishermen will be the ones who end up paying the most.

Many of the fish poached were big breeders.

We all obey the laws to protect these fish so they can spawn the next generation of fish. Poachers operate outside these laws and the total damage they do is hard to measure.

It is not just the fish they killed - it's the unlaid eggs too.

The YOY has been declining - if it continues , sportfishermen will see tighter rules.

Now , was it overfishing by law abiding fishermen or poachers taking thousands of fish that caused the trouble ?
