I don't know.............................................. ........................who bled more, me or the fish.

22-24 inch blues are like big parana's in the Bay. In years past, the blues were small and more of a nuscence than a sport to catch. Not now. These bastards had me bleeding all over the deck.

Small blues, I would shake off the spoon. These, are big enough to swallow the spoon and you have to dig the hook out of their mouth. At least several times today, as I was pushing the hook out, my hand would slide past the open mouth and I would scrape my fingers against their teeth. The razer sharp choppers would open up a gash in my hand and both the fish and I would bleed (I think my blood was darker). I need to start keeping a small bottle of "liquid bandage" on the boat.

Biggest blues were in 14 ft of water NW of Sharps Island Light. We also put several nice rock in the boat. Mondays rock averaged 25-34 inches. They were on the western side of the bay. Today, we didn't find the big fish, but managed several nice keepers anyway.

Catch you all on the water.

p.s. sorry about the spelling, I'm a little tired tonight.
