Default Reports from 9/3 and 9/5

Well if its any indication that fall may be better than spring/summer this year...I have finally seen some life out there....

Spot77 and I were out for about 5 hours...We ended up with Rock, Blues, and Perch....We decided to stop counting the perch after the first 100...Took a break and then pulled in at least another 100.....Some small ones but a good number above 10" and many in the 11 range....The stripers were small but fun to catch...

All of these were caught in no more than 6' of water...All of the fish were caught on some combination of lures and clams.....We even developed a new lure while on the water....The Clam Spin....very similar to a Beatle Spin but ya have to use your imagination.....Ended up the day trying to catch Corona fish with Limes...All in all a great day....

Last night was very much the same...Had to move to much larger bait and lures to avoid all the perch...Even then had to ignore the tap, tap and speed the lures up to get the perch disinterested...

All in all the last couple of days have been extremely productive....Hopefully get a couple of hours out there tonight as well.....
