Default Breezy Report 11-15

Left Breezy at about 06:00 and angled a little south heading for the deeper water, was suprised to see how clear the water was after the storm. Got my 8 rods out with out a hit,but was marking good bait, we made it all the way across the channel and were heading back west and my board rod with a single chart. chute got slammed. Let my little brother reel this one in, 40 inch 22.5 lbs, new boat record and its only 07:30, awsome start. Then we had a long lull in the action, decided to change up one lure, put a white ches. bay spoon on the outside board and 30 seconds later it hooked up with a big fish, only to come undone after it surfaced about 100' back. Couldnt figure that one out? Got the rod back out, and about 15 min. later it gets slammed again, only to come undone again, . We picked up another nice 38" fish off the chart. mojo, bucktail tandem, and that same rod also caught us a nice fiesty 20"er. Beautiful day to be on the bay, the fish were just an added bonus.
