Keep in mind the $85.00 price tag and do not compare it to a $185.00 Tekota and it will be fine.
You might want to open the new OKUMA up and grease the gears - plus put a thin layer of grease on the inside plates. This helps repeal water - almost like a gasket.
I just bought a couple new Penn 113H for $125.00. Solid reel but no level wind.
These are newer ones - fingers crossed but looks like Penn fixed a lot of their issues.
