That sucks!! I had some water in my lower unit this fall but caught it before it got too cold. It was just the small gasket around the drain screw that was shot so it was a cheap fix.
I bet to make up for your spring, the Boat Gods will drop fuel prices back down to "nothing" his summer. (You know, the $3.00 a gallon they have now conditioned us to be excited about!).
