I doubt any one will be able to understand why he shot those young kids.
Some were reported to have been shot 11 times - just no way to fathom how messed up his mind had to be.
I look back on my two kids growing up and can remember them in 1st grade. I often went on field trips with them and still see them having fun. How any one could kill children like that is a question with no answer.
