Keith. I am having a hard time seeing where you are running your planer lines from. I am going to have welded rod holders added to my uprights so that I dont have to use tridents and it gives me more cockpit area to boat a fish without moving rods. I would either move the rod holders forward of the top like francis states (would give more room to boat a fish too) or move the planer line as far forward on your T-top as possible without creating too much stress on the top. You could also add rod holders to your top around the sides and angle them just slightly out as you move forward (a slight angle will make for rod tip seperation).

Here is what we did over the MSSA weekend with a 17 rod spread. I want to get rid of using tridents
