When approaching the Bay Bridge there was a cargo ship on the south side. From a distance, at first, it looked like they were waiting for us to pass under the bridge and we would go by port to port.
They were actually underway, they crossed in front of us and we past each other starboard to starboard.....UNDER the bridge!!!
From a distance there doesn't seem to be enough room for two ships of that size!
but there was plenty of room for the ships....but no room for mistakes!!
