Rain Sux !
This rain is god awful...Really punts a damper (ha, ha) on the fishing...
Just when it seemed to really start turning back on...
Now we have to deal with muddy water, debris floating all around, and more than likely the O2 levels taking a dive for a while...
It just sux....
OK, I am now done ranting, thanks for listening...

I would venture to say any shallow water fishing will be non-existent for a while, hopefully this didn't kill it for the rest of the year. I might troll around Monday just to see if anything is happening.

Yup.....and I had a free and clear, wide open afternoon today.

I measured 4 1/2 inches of rain in empty trash can - BWI reported over 5 inches.
Real worry is Harrisburg , Pa area - they got as much or more and that muddies the Susky badly.
Keep fingers crossed it is not too bad in next few weeks. Bay water was looking decent for a change.

Don't worry about the susky, they are spending tons of money on a "study" to figure out how to remove the sediment behind the dam
Just think how much could get done if we didn't have to study it to death

Took a ride from Tolchester to Mike's North today to watch a little football at the tiki bar only to discover it was closed for weather (i assume). Parking lot was full so inside was probably jumping but I didn't come over to sit inside, I can do that at home! Crossed over the Patapsco and ran up to see the Hard Yacht Cafe instead. Found it but didn't realize where the bar's docking was until we had already decided to head back home so we will need to try that place again another day.
BUT, the point of this post was that it wasn't anywhere near as dirty as I expected it to be for the 20knot winds and 5" of rain we just got. Maybe it will go downhill from today but all and all I didn't think it was too bad. I personally didn't fish at all but did see a couple trollers in the mouth of the Pat. Maybe they will have something to post...
