Default Solomon's 11-20-10

Went out on a friend's 45' bay built today.

Had 12 rods on the boards, all 12" on bottom bait and all 9" on the top bait.

Had 6 boat rods with umbrellas, either storms, or bucktails with shads.
and a WWB tandem.

1st fish at 7:30 was an extremely well fed 42", 8:30 we had a 37", and about 8:50 we got a 40", all on the boards. We picked up 4 more on the boat rods everytime we hit the Eastern side near the crab pots. they were 20", 21", 22" and a 27.5".

It was a slow day, but better than I thought it would be.

As I am watching his electronics, we never marked any bait in the channel. All larger fish were in the channel from 65'-95'.

On my boat tomorrow, we'll see how it goes.

John

Slow? Sounds like a good day. Can't beat having a friend with a boat that size.

John, good talking to you. You did better than I did. we had a mere 3 fish to the mid 30" range down by the HS. We pulled all big baits looking for bigger fish

I headed out of Secretary on ( Bad Fish) friends 25' Grady Sailfish 11/21 we ran to Chesapeake Beach and started our 8 rod spread. Didn't hear anything to speak of on the radio. We got out about 11a and fished until 4:30. At about 3p on the eastern side near the crab pots we caught a fat 24'' fish. Nothing else all day. Ran back in to try and beat the darkness. All in all, we burnt about 40 gallons for one fish. Thank god it was not my gas. only the beer and chicken. I'm off until Dec 6th so I hope to see you all on the water.
