Size and Necessity
Mark;
If I was you, I'd invest in the best insulated hat you can afford.
Mark
And get a big one too...

Mark, I'm 6"4 and 210 (YES by gawd!). I have and extra large coat and pants, had it for 2 years now. The pants are just a tad short but fine since I usually wear boots. The coat is actually a little big. You might want to go with a large coat. Here's how I dress for cold weather - an Under Armor or similar base layer, cargo pants, a fleece shirt, thermal hoodie, and the Artic Armor. When it's warmer than 40 degrees, I usually don't wear the hoodie because I get hot and sweat. I never even look at the temperature, rain, or snow forecast any more. If the wind is reasonable, I go fishing. I've been surprised several times when I'm out there and it starts snowing or sleeting. Francis and I fished one morning last January at the CBBT and it was about zero when we left the ramp. When the salt-spray hit my arctic armor, it bounced off. It was cold, but I wasn't. I'm a big fan.
