Default Hacketts to Brickhouse

Got out yesterday after lunch with my son and set lines just south of the bridge. We trolled a southeast pattern from the west side as we set lines and landed a nice 38" fish before the entire spread was out. We continued an southeast and south west troll with a few circles on bait we had marked and hooked another that was long leader released. As we got down off the mouth of the severn river in 55' of water we landed a fish just shy of 41". It was my boy's personal best. Not bad for a trip after lunch but not the hot and heavy action more recent falls have produced. Water temp is dropping fast and was 48 degrees on the ebb. It was great spending time with my son who took a lot of initiative in setting the spread at the age of 10.

Got some good action around and south of Love Point Yesterday...Not that kind of size but some good fish....

I think its a little too late for this year...

Maybe one more trip and I am going to call it a year for 2010 and hope 2011 is a heck of a lot better.

Yeah, i think the ocean run was late and now temps are dropping rapidly.. who knows if the big fish will stay very long. certainly not the hot action of the last few years in the area.

THere was a very early run of ocean fish, most people just had no idea they were here unless you knew to look for them.

The bait and birds by the bridge were CRAZY......glad we landed a lot of fish even if there wasn't much size to them.
