It sure was muddy out there...Looked like coffee but with creamer...

The eastern side of the bay had a lot more, I mean a lot more debris in the water than the western side did....Also looked like the water temps were a little warmer on the western side as well....

Heard the Coast Guard report a 20+ foot log floating by the Key Bridge...

Did anyone hear the call go out for a boat on fire ? Anyone know where that was ?

Might need to stick to YP and WP for another couple of days till some of this cloudiness gets out of the water...Sure was a beautiful day, cant wait for more....

I was out from mid morning today to mid afternoon. Water is still muddy by no where near like my previous trip. Unfortuantely the bite was off by BPL though. We marked very little bait and the ships were each facing a different direction (no current). We squeezed out a fish but an overall disappointing trip. The fish on this trip and last to the same area had no sea lice. I think there is a better bite further south where the water is cleaner. Note that there were still a lot of sticks in the channel too.

BTW, a DNR boat passed by for a look (and a rod count I am sure )

Got out for a couple of hours...worked the bridge and south past Matapeake...Saw some bait, not large schools...No fish....

Got some great scans of the bridge pilings though !

Might try late Friday afternoon again, weather depending and most likely Sunday and maybe Saturday....

By the way agreed on the debris, although much smaller 5 to 7 days later....Most of it still seems to be on the Eastern side...To me the water is more clear, but not where anyone would like to see it....Water temps were down a degree or so from a week ago...Hoping some daytime highs in the 50s to 60s and nighttime lows above 40 push the temps up a few degrees............

We're in a for a few days of light to medium rain, so I'm not so sure things will clear up any time soon.

I might be free Sunday....and Sunday is supposed to be a decent day.

Water temps at TPL got up to 48 degrees on the 19th of March. Now they are sitting at 45 degrees. They are going in the wrong direction..
