Default They're here

Fishing Sunday above BB 35' to 39' deep. Got bit off on a 17 tony and a whole 6" swim shad. The girl on board was reeling in a 32" rockfish and about half way to the boat she said that it felt like something else attacked the lure and then let go. When we got the fish in the boat, 2 of the 5 teaser shads and the snap swivels were missing from the umbrella Managed a 32" a 28" a 26" and 6 fish under 18" then went jigging for perch but couldn't get the jigs through the small rockfish. Anyone else have bite offs?

Great news ! Been catching more than enough striper to keep anyone happy but have yet to get a blue hooked...Was in the southern shoals and around LP on Sunday and could not get any blues to hook up...

Used a number of spoons and other lures the blues would normally hit, but nothing...

Did you bring one in ? or just see the bite offs ?

Just bite offs. I'm guessing their pretty good size to take whole lures instead of just bitting off tails. I will try surge tubes this weekend. You were in the same general area. I probabaly saw you there.

woohoo! Good news for some of us.

I suppose others will find it annoying.

Sounds like you had a good trip with some nice catches.

Just got off the boat (2pm to 8pm) in the CB area and caught 6 nice blues (20-22 inches). We also caught rock from 21 -29 inches.

Switching over to all metal next trip out.
