Excuse me Don, but you are not holding that fish correctly. You should not have kept that fish, if it wasn't the species you were targeting. I hope you didn't have barbed hooks on those lures. I bet it was bleeding on the other (non-photo) side.

That thing hanging from the head of the fish is part of its gill. Since the fish was dead we thought we should keep it....otherwise we would have let it go

I would enjoy the shorts and t-shirt weather while you can because it feels like we won't need them in MD until probably August . Actually I am in upstate NY where it is a comfy 25* right now
