Default “Summerfied” the boat today

After my 2 total outings this Spring, the boards and BS came off the boat this afternoon. You folks tell me I don’t need them and I hate the damn things anyway. Not concerned with winning upcoming Casey Cares tourney (its about the kids not the fish). And not fishing the Rock Hall tourney either.

I have also come the conclusion that I am probably sitting out trophy season next year. It’s a big rush to get the boat over just to get blown out or skunked. It’s a TON of money too. I’m sure Habanero Custom Baits isn’t going to like this idea, but “Uncle Jeff” may not be paying for their kid’s college educations. Too early to tell for sure, but that is the direction I am leaning. Please don’t take my Man card.....

I may be regretting my decision to remove my boards, extra rods, and big baits.

Headed out tomorrow with 7 trolling rods and three jigging rods

Wish me well
5th

Jeff that's probably not a terrible strategy.

If you keep your boat laid up longer we're likely to have an awesome spring season.

Heck Mike (Garlien) and I just brought his boat home yesterday. I won't tell y'all how miserable the fishing was, but the ride and weather were both fantastic. Felt good to be out there again.
