Dave,
It's not straight Polyurethane, it's another clear coat material that is used as a marine sealer sometimes, but, it's not exactly clear. What you got for me?

Paul,
Did you get your samples yet? I could probably do feathered hooks, although I haven't tried it yet. It can't be too much tougher than a fly I would imagine.

Actually, if you aren't going to paint the heads that stuff looks fine. Does it get hard like epoxy? I use a clear form powder that is hard as a rock and sometimes the liquid depending on how durable I want them to be.

Yeah, it dries pretty hard when it's all said and done. Liquid powder sounds fun.

Before you know it you'll be filing each jig down by hand to perfection, applying pretty powder coats with sparkles and clear coats, gluing 3D eyeballs on and using expensive hooks...then comes the trolling baits(why not? its just a mold, a few hooks and some hair right?) and thousands of $$ later you are running gregs bait business! HA HA I can see it already

I'll probably never actually tie one on to my rod either. . .

That's some nice work, Francis. I really appreciate that kind of craftsmanship.

Francis,
I haven't received them yet...unless the wife has hid them from me. She's been grumpy as hell lately

Listen up Spynet, you better get offline and get back to work. Engagement rings are expensive
