Default Wish a Fish needs boats - July 17th

The Wish a Fish foundation event for Sandy Point will be July 17th this year.
We could use a few boats - over 21 feet long.

Wish a Fish treats special needs children and their family to a fun filled day - away from all the stress that special needs can place on a family.

Boats arrive at Sandy Point about 8:00 - families arrive around 9:00. They go out fishing / boating until about 1:00 - then come in for a catered lunch.

Each child goes home with a new rod/reel combo and a fully stocked tackle box is given to each family.

WAF is a lot of fun - I think the volunteers enjoy it as much as the families do.
If you'd like to help out - drop me a B mail. Besides boats - we can always use extra hands setting up / taking pictures / etc.

I'm going to help out again this year. What a heart-warming experience to see the joy on the children's faces.

I participated for 5 years and it was one of the most hart warming things I have ever done. Nothing like seeing the smiles on those kids faces when they are pulling in a fish. I hope you can get all the boats you need Skip….
