The more info you can record - the better. Little things might not seem important at the time but are really key factors.
I read over my logbooks often - really helps keep things fresh in my memory.
On tough days - little forgotten tactics can pay off.

I put wind speed / direction
current direction / tide phase
overall weather
lures / baits that worked and ones that did not
water clarity / temp

I draw a rough map of my day's travel

One thing to include - anything you heard about.
I might be after Rock but will record if a buddy caught Croakers early.
