So let's talk about how to work them.

I've jigged them around the bridge a little,thrown them through a flock of birds attacking baitfish and it sounds like people troll them.

How about for White Perch? Let them sink a little and then fast retrieve?

While I've caught suspended fish on stingsilvers, I think they're best used when fish are holding near the bottom. It's a great lure for vertical jigging, especially this time of year for white perch. The way I use them is to drop down until I feel the bottom, then snap up and let it settle back until you feel the bottom again, then snap again always keeping a tight line. They're very good around the Bay Bridge rockpiles through the winter until the spring rains/runoff washes out the deep warm water. When the current is really rolling I cast them upstream and let them drift down but try to keep them as vertical as possible. I really like this particular design on generic stingsilvers because of the single hook and feather dressing.
