Did anybody buy anything at the show? I bought a dozen 9" shad, but that was it. Not a whole lot going on. I thought the fish/dog tank was pretty neat, and all the kids loved it. I tried to talk my neighbor into buying the 28' Parker, but he didn't bite.

I was there on Thursday and was very disappointed again. Seemed like even less tackle dealers than even last year. Shore tackle had a great display of rods and reels. Very few boat vendors too. Some glitter boats, grady, sea hunt, seafox, parker and one contender seemed like it all.

Baltimore boat show is this week I believe. I may try to stop by there this week.

Agreed, less vendors than even last year...Prices were not the best either...

Hopefully Kent Island, Pasadena, and Tri state pick up the slack this year....

Even better, lets hope this cold weather gets out of here and we get some warmer days with sun so we can at least pretend like we are catching....

I made out ok there again this year. I found some freshwater plastics for great prices, some real RatLtraps for $1.99 each and some spare Suffix for my freshwater rods for $1.99 per 100 yard spool. These are great for my ultralight and Crappie rigs. I like to keep a few spare spools with me when I go on my week long fishing trips....it never fails that I get some serious line issues.

I also picked up a new freshwater topwater frog that I'd never seen before. Cost me $10, but if it catches a few good bass it'll be worth it. I like trying new weird lures.

Saw some gooddeals on rod/reel combos but I just don't need another one right now.

I'd say overall it was about as good as last year....or rather, no worse than last year. Definitely less bass boat vendors.

Man how I love eyballing the Parkers though.
