I had one surgery in the fall of 2007, right before Thanksgiving and it took me until the end of Feb before I had decent use of my hand.

Being a diabetic for more than 30 years slows down my recovery time a bit I guess.

Yikes that's a big picture! I can't resize it on this computer though....y'all should just stick to looking at the thumbnail of it.

I didn't get the full zig zag cut, I got 4 smaller cuts along creases in the hand, and they reached in with a tool to remove the offending tissue. I can still see the scars, but it isn't too bad.

Got cut on 3/22, looked like this on 3/27:



Stitches out on 4/7, caught this at location X on 4/9:

Damn!!! Nice fish! Your hand looks way cleaner than mine. I have to go back for another surgery already. Been putting it off for a while but I think I might have it done after the first of the year ......when the fishing is slower!
