I am going to Fredrick to look at a Gheenoe today. I expect to see some posts and see you guys out there Sunday. My plan is to start at 78A unless someone changes my mind.

Here! Just learned of this site and noticed the TF regulars so I decided to join.
I do have one question though, if the idea is to spread the word about this site and guys are visiting this site to avoid the BS associated with TF, then what's to stop this site from getting the same sort of negative traffic once it becomes popular?

B-Faithful,
Saw the link on THT Chesapeake board, thank you!!
Signed up right away and listed my bass boat in the For Sale section already.
I live in Harford County so typically fish from Pooles and north in my bay boat on weekends .
Living right on Kent Narrows during the week (due to work) and only get to fish from the rip rap down there. HO after work anyone?
Looking forward to meeting new friends and continued sharing with older ones!
Jeff

Looking forward to the new forum. I agree with Josh, no spot burn rule would be nice. Headed out with Francis in the AM, hopefully we'll have a report.

mlag,
That rod holder in the background, base mount, is it strong enough to hold a fish of that size???? I would think the base being rectangular, would be stronger if it were parallel to the rod. You know a wider or longer (depending how you look at it) area to spread the stress.
I was looking at that type but was concerned about the strength. You have them through bolted right, not just screws into the fiberglass?
Maybe they are stronger then they look.
Oh, awesome fish!!!!!!!
