BTW. The Harbor Tunnel is not the only 8' maximum road. All two lane roads are a maximum of 8' width in Maryland.

Are you sure about that? I have driven sets of double 102s on RT404, RT313 and RT317 on the shore hundreds of times and past by MD state troopers without a problem.

MD roads are a 96 " towing width. Certain Federal roads are 102". Some Troopers enforce towing width regs and some don't. Six inches is hard to spot when a vehicle is traveling down the road, however if you are involved in an accident, the tape will come out..............Gary
