Default Love Point area trolling 11/9

Mark (Baldzilla) was kind enough to tell us he marked lots of fish deep in 35 ft of water. Headed out this morning with my buddie Lou and we picked up 10 nice rock (23-25 inches) trolling. I told Lou to wrap em up, and we headed to the bridge for some jigging. We picked up 5, with the largest being 25 inches. Bay was like a pond today. Brought home four nice fish.
Yesterday's skunk (West River) was avenged. 5th (Marty)

Well, I guess should have run North not South from the South River I didn't get a thing today. It was a great day on the bay and beats staying home staring at the wall.

Thanks B-Faithful for the hint at the other place about CBAngler

Great going Marty! I see Baldzilla doesn't lie to you about where this fish are like he does with everbody else.

Hey, did the upper bay have a fog bank roll in late this morning? I had to cut short my trip out of PLO because of a thick, fast moving fog that rolled in around 11 this morning.

We had a heavy haze in the morning. No fog rolled in later. I trolled from 8:30 - 10:30 then ran to the bridge; then back to Bodkin Creek by 1pm.

Halfmoon; south of South River was Hot,Hot,Hot for the last couple of weeks; but seems to have dried up quickly over the last few days. Maybe the bait moved to deeper water? We were doing well in 25-35 ft; but didn't mark as much bait on Sunday. Of course the 300 boats may have had a lot to do with it. Today I had to contend with about five boats. Still ran small baits (6/4 inch tandem storm shads and #15 tony's). Roof rods (150 ft/4 oz. and 120 ft/6oz.). Boat rods (100ft/12 oz. and 80ft/16oz.) Two dipsey divers (15-18 ft down) with tony's. Marked lots of bait!!!! Good luck. 5th (Marty)

Thanks 5th, that's my luck. I kept changing up baits with no luck. Maybe next time I'll put dinner on the table.

Nice work close to home. Heard there were plenty of boats in the area today.
