Can you believe that summer is almost over: kids are back in school, days are getting shorter, temps are cooling. Join the DCMSSA @ 7:30p Wednesday Sept 5 for another fantastic meeting at Steamers in Bethesda. For our speaker we are fortunate to have the world famous angler and prolific writer Lenny Rudow! Lenny will be sharing all manner of fishing tips and preparing us for the upcoming fall bite.

Bring a friend to their first DCMSSA meeting and their first beer is on us.

As always we will be selling raffle tickets to win fantastic prizes like rods, reels, lures, nets etc.

Please note: The second annual DCMSSA Kid’s fishing day is approaching. On Saturday Sept 8 DCMSSA will be hosting 50 kids at Anacostia Park in DC. We will be teaching these kids how to rig a rod, and bait a hook. The kids will fish for a while and after lunch they will take their new rod and reel home with them. We need a few more adults to help chaperone the event. If you are available from 11-4 on Saturday Sept 8 please let me know. This will be a fun and rewarding event. Thanks to all who funded this event by purchasing raffle tickets this spring.
