Nice catches off of PLO trolling with big fish over 40"..

(You may be able to troll a full spread in VA waters, not sure though)

Looks like they were running just boat rods from the photos but that is a guess. I would probably run boards just to keep the boat clear and cover more water but that is me.

I do have to say that I am very tempted to trailer down to PLO and run over the VA line and pull a full spread. I dont think they have the silly rod restrictions down there.

What about barbless hooks, any idea?

Potomac river has barbless hook requirements this time of year but I am not sure about VA waters
