Default Trolling for the Fall

Gang, I haven’t fished much lately do to work. The little time I have had has been dreaming of big rock that may arrive shortly. In preparation for fall trolling have been messing with the mill machine and modifying trolling lure molds. I am considering making some heavy lures 8 and 12 oz lures how many of you guys use these heavy lures? I am also looking at making a mold for slider heads in the 3, 4, 5, and 6 oz. The slider head would be nice for positioning one hook in the lure. What do you guys think, should I concentrate on heavy or slider designs?

I did have one rod I ran heavy this spring that was on fire 14oz.
