Wow; what a beautiful day; and some catching as well. I think the final total was 4 chain pickeral, 4 largemouth bass, and 2 crappie.

Scott (spot77) will post some pics later. I was worried we would be a little early for pond fishing, but we got lucky. Just enough bites to keep it interesting. Sorry more didn't go, but we had five anglers (Myself, Scott, Mike/gailen, Lou, and Lance).

I think they liked the looks of the ponds (at least 7 or 8) and we can go back in a few weeks (just before the lilly pads get too prolific) and try again in some warmer water.

Now for a good nights sleep and off to the PSG fleamarket. Retired life is great. Now if I can just afford my new boat registration in a few years.

How did I miss this. I feel so out of the loop I spent the day laying out my garden and I could have been fishing

Don; sorry you missed it. For me, it was a relaxing day watching a couple minnies under bobbers. For Scott and Mike, they were racing around throwing rattletraps, chatterbaits, topwater stuff, and wherever else they had in their arsinal. Hopefully we will go again before the lillypads get up.

We will definitely make plans for another day out there!

And as you saw....I didn't bring even .001% of my "arsenal."

And that big bag you guys saw was just my freshwater bag.

But now, after seing the ponds I know what I want to bring next time. I should be able to get away with that little bag I took Friday. It will just have more stuff in it.
