Default Finally got some good rain.....

...here in AA county near Sandy Point. It rained pretty good for a few hours yesterday morning.

As of 8pm last night the water color still looked really good so I'm guessing as dry as things are, the water really soaked in and we'll see very little run off.

And the fishing was still really good.

So we should expect another million gallons of raw sewage to spill from a failed pumping station on the Patapsco again?

I have been at the Jersey shore. Here is what the road looked like after "some" rain on Saturday.. (I am not sure I have seen so much rain at once -high tide didnt allow for it to drain easily either)

Holy crap Greg....bet that was fun.

The rain here certainly didn't keep the jellyfish away. They should up strong at the Cape beach last week. The beach attendants have emptied the first aid kit of everything that could be used to help soothe jellyfish stings. They said that the hand sanitizer actually worked well with its high alcohol content.

I assume they meant people were applying it to the sting, not driniking it. It is after all, Cape St Claire......
