Default Striper Beer!

Since we all love rockfish and the Bay and BEER(at least most of us)

Devils Backbone Brewing Company in Lexington, VA has a Striped Bass Pale Ale coming in at 5.2%ABV. Some proceeds go to educational funding for the CBF.

It's not to bad either. A little fruity (we like it a little dryer) but it went well with this post 39-incher victory dinner.

I had heard if it on the Washington Post or somewhere, asked the people at Corridor in Laurel, and they had not heard of it. Anyone know where I can get any??

I had a few bottles last year. It's an OUTSTANDING beer.

Crap....I forgot the name, but there's a place in Columbia that will most definitely have it.

Or we could make a road trip to Charlottesville.

If you got deep pockets - grab a 5th of Chartreuse liquor. Runs about $55.00 but is very interesting. It's got a distinct flavor.

Think it's around 100 proof or so.
