Default 29 & 30 Nov and 1 Dec 2013 report

One fish each day, that's it in a nutshell. Black Friday I ran my boat down to #78, Threw the junk in the water (16 rods) and worked south. One 24" fish which didn't pop the clip. The tag line off my board tow line got wrapped around the aft helm and firewalled the boat popping all the board lines and created a softball size hairball of 80lbs braid. Cut that **** off, threw it in the cooler and put 8 boat rods back out.

Saturday, fished with John on Patent Pending. Ran to the gas docks. One 25" fish. Back in Deale, it was the same story. 2/3rds the boats were skunked or came in with one

Sunday I was back out with John again. BPL. One 25ish inch fish again which was more than most of the big boats.

I'm done on the Bay for 2013. Looking at flights to Costa Rica today!

Tawn,
I feel your pain. Freezing your a** off for 1 fish doesn't cut it for me either. I'm pulling my boat Wed's. By the way it's 81 degrees in Costa Rica today, not too shabby!!!

Skunked yesterday (12-1). We trolled around a little north of the bridge for a few hours....crossed the channel, up and down, back and forth.

Nothing to show for it except a little buzz from the cold beer.

The radio chatter on 68 was amusing for a while though.

Never did hear anyone say they caught anything.

Talk about 99 ways to die - planer board line moving throttle

Not sure what you see in Costa Rica. Weather is sunny and 80 -90* , water clear , fish everywhere , $1.00 beers , women wearing clothing much too tight , friendly locals , $8.00 steak dinners ........

When do we leave ?

If it eases pain any - no one I know has done well the last two weeks - myself included. Been very tough bite.
