You're complaining about that? ALL of my days go like that now, with multiple 150 yd trips from the boat to the house getting more tools and supplies, asking the wife if she's busy and can spare me a couple of minutes to hold a bolt or start a nut. Most days it also involves a 10-15 mile round trip to the marine or hardware store for something that broke or I didn't have in stock! You had a good day. Get a big drink and relax.

Had a BIG gin and tonic, a steak, some salads, and now resting with my feet up and a cool breeze.
Hope to splash the boat sometime tomorrow and check out the new washdown

I guess if Bill Judge ever hired you, the price of his boats would double to afford your labor rate. At 4 bolts per 2 hours, a rub rail install could cost millions!!

Oh, I'm much better swinging a hammer and working the rub rail in the hull

Might be too late - I've seen some pumps where you can just replace the pump - bracket stays in place.

My Rule pumps are like that - true 10 minute job.

The hose has enough flex so I can tighten clamps before pump snaps into bracket.

The bracket sits on top the thru hull.

What; and not have the pleasure of watching the wire slide back through the hole into the bilge like a cobra

By the way, ran out into the bay from Bodkin Creek. The bay water is the color of "sand". I'm sure it clears up further down the bay.
