Default Sad; sad; sad

Finished cutting the grass this morning and came in to cool off and turned on the TV. Both Hank Parker and Shaw Grisby are fishing the back bays of Louisiana catching red fish. The water is clear and the marsh is pristeen.

I can't imagine what it looks like now. All those bait fish, crabs, trout, redfish and birds destroyed.

Hank Parker was talking about how after they banned the netting, the redfish population exploded to create a great fishery. How long; if ever; will it take to return?

Sad, sad, sad

Let's hope the Gov't can get it's chit together and stop the leak and accept all the help from public and private agencies to help mother nature bring this area back.

Where's Joe (Biden)? Health care was nothing; this is a "Big F*#king Deal".

Saw on the weather channel - the oil is killing the marsh grass that holds the shoreline together.

Once it dies - the area can be washed away in a storm. Hurricanes often hit that area in August.

Without the grass - the entire food chain will be broken.

Thumbs down

Big sad. Seeing the videos of the oil soaked birds and thinking about how the redfish as well as everything else is getting hose brought me to tears. This could take decades to fix itself.
