Default Report Chester River 11/10/2009 Not good

I left the peir at 7 AM this morning and rode to the Chester river where I found fish last Saturday.

Never saw any birds working, or sitting on the water. We had no current well after it was supposed to start and only had what appeared to be moving tide for about an hour or two the entire time I was out.

Trolled the area from the mouth back up the river almost to the entrance to the Narrows.

Marked a lot of fish, had 5 rods out, tandem rigged bucktails with spoons, had most of the rods deep because that is where we saw the pockets of fish. Caught one just sub legal fish and that was it.

Thought with no winds, overcast, warm temps and a little fog ,we would hooken up but it was not to be

We gave up about fishing about 1:30.
