Default 2/27 pscnr trip

Went out for a preaseason trip with my fishing buddy. We ran six rods for about 3 hours around Chesapeake beach. We has 3 knock downs that popped the clip. A 22" that didt pop the clip and then this 43/44" fatty. She felt like a 45lb plate. On the planner six bars back/ single parachute white.

Nice fish!! Did the 22" fish hit a 9" shad or did you have some 6" mixed in?

Also remember Elephants eat peanuts. Some of the largest fish I've caught have came on small baits. Congrats on the catch! Been trying to get out myself but winds have not cooperated. Leaving Sunday for Bahamas for some R&R and fishing so I guess the stripers will just have to wait til the 16th for me.
