Snuck out this morning with a customer (so really I was on the job at 4:30am when we left for the boat right?). He does a fair amount of fishing but mainly on Lake Erie and mostly for walleye.
Since they were calling for only 5 mph, why not go out and enjoy the flat seas? Well sure did seem to pick up much faster that I thought it would. By 9 it was blowing 20kts
Tide was bucking the wind so it made for yet another sporty trip.
Did manage to land a 39" which was my customer's Personal biggest fish ever!! It took him a long time to get that thing in the boat too! JD green tandem back 8. We had a second fish on a daisy chain but the crimp failed almost right away
Adventurous day out there, fortunately the traffic was at a minimum AND no boards flipped, we came in about 10:30. Did see 5th working hard on the Patent Pending so figured I was in a good spot, that sure is a pretty boat!!!
Hope to be back out there on Friday, Monday, & a trip or 2 over the weekend.
